Good news!
We just received a confirmation that vintage/classic vehicles which are 30 years older (previously 35 years) are classified under a special reduced yearly road tax. However its not easy for the car to be passed on as a classic, the car would have to have its original styling, engine and interior still intact.

The new road tax charged will be only €8.00, yes you read right only eight euros for whatever engine size you have. And the car can be used on the road without any limits as long as vehicle has a valid road license.
We are just happy about these news, because our 2.8l Datsun 280zx had a yearly tax of €504, which is now €8 .... more money for us to spend on it :)
