The strategic merger announced last August of the automotive and marine businesses of the Gasan Group and the Zammit Group has been approved by the Office for Competition.
This merger effectively means that the newly-formed GasanZammit Limited will be the second largest car importer in Malta, offering a wide choice of international brands, namely Capelli, Chevrolet, Ford, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar, Mazda, Pirelli, Volvo and Yamaha.
GasanZammit Motors Limited will be operating from the Gasan Centre in Mrieħel which will be housing all of the Automotive and Marine brands - an authentic and effective One-Stop-Shop Complex, if ever there was one, offering customers the largest choice of brands and models in all segments under one roof.
The newly formed company GasanZammit Motors Limited is expected to formally commence its operations on the 1st November 2012.
