The driver lost control of his red Audi TT. It mounted the pavement, flew through a hedge before going over the top of two parked cars in a driveway and smashing into the brick wall of a house. The Audi was left wedged in the £250,000 house in Long Meadow Walk, Carlton Colville near Lowestoft, Suffolk.
Shocked householder believed to have been in bed when he was woken by the impact. Nobody in the house was injured, however the driver suffered serious head injuries.
Collision investigators will be at the scene today as we try to ascertain exactly what has occurred.
