Evolved from the 400 Superamerica, the 500 Superfast had a slightly longer wheelbase and only came in aerodynamic coupé form, with the 400’s styling tidied up and improved upon. Surprisingly, the market says they’re actually worth a lot less than those 400s, despite only 36 Superfasts being built. Some of that may be down to fear of the mighty five-litre V12 engine. Despite the low build numbers, much of its construction was unique to this model, so you wouldn’t want to break one. Eight were built with right-hand-drive.
