Homologation special based on 1800-engined 124 Spider. There’s extra power from twin Weber carbs and new exhaust manifold – the last ones even being offered with an optional 16-valve head – and the stiffened shell was fitted with lightweight glassfibre bonnet and boot and alloy door skins. All got a rollcage and permanent hardtop. Independent rear suspension improved handling and one won the 1972 European rally Championship. 1013 were built, but pure road-going ones are near-impossible to find.
