The PC was only available with a 3294cc six-cylinder engine. At first, the Cresta De Luxe, with its four headlamps and extra brightwork, did service as the most luxurious model, but then came the 1966 Viscount with its vinyl roof, power steering and windows, plus those essential plush touches of wood and leather inside. Most Viscounts came with automatic transmission, which was improved considerably once the two-speed Powerglide gearbox was ditched in favour of a General Motors three-speeder.
