1969 Aston Martin DBS V8

Two years after the 1967 launch of the DBS, the car finally gained the engine it had always been destined for; Tadek Marek’s sparkling new quad-cam fuel-injected 5340cc V8. However, the model’s size and weight made it more grand tourer than out-and-out sportscar. Externally, there was little difference to the DBS save for the alloy wheels – where the DBS had wires – and a front air dam. The Hillman Hunter rear lights remained the same, though, proving that even the most prestigious machines have some touches of the real world about them.
