1955 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider

Like its coupé sister, the Spider’s body was designed by Bertone, and was an object lesson in Italian style and understatement. It’s still great to drive in all forms, and remains in demand today. As with the rest of the family, rust was (and is) a serious factor in its survival rate, and the condition of the bodywork and chassis are of paramount importance. There are problems with the engine, too (such as head gasket issues), but just about all the mechanical parts are readily available off-the-shelf, so they’re not difficult to keep going.
