1958 MG A Twin Cam Roadster

The trouble with the MGA was always its lack of power. Although most owners were happy with the standard 1500 and 1600cc cars, there was demand from a certain hard core of buyers who wanted more. MG was happy to oblige when it came up with the Twin Cam. Racing car builder, Harry Weslake came up with a new twin-cam head for the B-Series, which improved breathing and top end power. Only ever offered as an option, the 108bhp upgrade was enough to satisfy MGA owners with a need for speed to match the beautiful styling.
