1982 Bristol Brigand

It was inevitable the turbocharged version of the Chrysler V8 that was so praisd by Beaufighter customers would find its way into the Britannia. And just as it did with the targa-topped car’s upgrade, Bristol re-named its coupé, launching the newly-boosted Britannia as a brand new car. Considering the chassis and suspension set-up originated from the late-1940s – albeit with countless changes – it’s remarkable it remained unchanged when given an additional 20% of power.
