1985 MG Montego 2.0 EFi

Sharing an engine with the Maestro, the 2.0 EFi Montego was MG’s flagship model. It was quick, but when the turbocharged O-series made its debut, the EFi was left standing. The Montego Turbo was the fastest production MG, boasting a 0-60mph time of 7.2 seconds and a top speed of 128mph. It had its fair share of problems in the beginning, most notably the torque-steer, but over the next three years constant development transformed the Montego into an unfussed executive express. Now on the critical list with the Maestro and Metro.
