Paqpaqli Car Show 2014

The popular motorsport event Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina was held on December 7, featuring over 850 cars with live stunts near the Lufthansa Technik in Hal Farrug to raise funds for the Community Chest Fund.

The theme this year was "Start your engines" allowing the public to book dream rides in a Porsche GT3, Nissan GT-3, Ferrari Racer and more. With special attraction from ProSpeed Bulgaria in a 700BHP Audi S1 Quattro rally car and other continuous live action in various parts of the event.

There were other attractions that would attract any type of petrol head ranging from car makes such as Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette, Ford, Honda, Mitsubishi, Dodge, Toyota, Lotus, Subaru from classic cars with the latest models. Owners of the cars in the event had the opportunity to participate in various events such as the time attack challenge , rock crawling for the off-road vehicles as well as for a drifting arena for the rwd cars. This year the unique car imported to the island was the Toyota TS030 hybrid racer as well as a special soapbox car activity.
